MEET OUR  DOCTORS

Dr. Christopher Matock, D.C., C.C.S.P.

Dr. Matock grew up in the Salinas/Monterey area where he attended Palma High School. It was during his time at Palma when he experienced the benefits of Chiropractic after being injured during a football game. He was so amazed at the results that he received from care that he decided to become a Chiropractor. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at California State University, Fresno, he then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where he received his Doctorate, graduating magna cum laude.  Dr. Matock then went on to do his preceptorship in both a Medical Center and an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinic where he worked treating and rehabilitating patients. Recently, Dr. Matock earned his Certified Chiropractic Sports Phyisician certificiation (C.C.S.P.)

Dr. Matock opened Precision Sports Medicine, a sports injury based chiropractic clinic in Walnut Creek in 2012. He promotes an evidence-based approach to patient care while utilizing progressive manual techniques. He specializes in GRASTON technique, active myofacial release technique, Kinesio taping method, and rehabilitation. Dr. Matock has worked as a member of the medical staff for the 2010 and 2012 US Open, the Sea Otter Classic, Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball Event, the Cal Bearathon Triathlon, and the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. He was also on the medical staff for both the 2010 and 2012 U.S. Open Golf Championships in Pebble Beach California.

Dr. Matock is happily married to his wife, Sarah and they have two beautiful children Luca and Olivia. During his free time he enjoys visiting his family’s ranch in Jackson, fly fishing in Montana, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Sergio Perry, D.C.

Dr. Perry is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West where he underwent an intensive four-year academic program and clinical internship earning Suma Cum Laude honors. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, he completed his undergraduate work at California State University, Sacramento with a major in Kinesiology and a concentration in physical therapy.

​

Dr. Perry is a native of the Monterey Peninsula, where he worked in a state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation medical center for 4 years prior to practicing in the bay area. While practicing in Monterey, Dr. Perry received extensive training in myofascial release and neuromuscular re-education (NMR) techniques. He also had the opportunity to work in an orthopedic sports medicine clinic where he practiced in conjunction with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and physician assistants in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries. He has served as strength & conditioning coach for several high school and collegiate athletic programs where he implemented plyometric and speed training techniques. He also worked as part of the wellness team for the 2010 and 2012 U.S. Open Golf Championships.

Dr. Perry has a tremendous passion for helping people improve their quality of life through promotion of fitness, athletic performance, and nutrition. He is committed to serving people of all ages and empowering each individual to achieve their optimal health and fitness level and develop their uppermost potential.
